Newkirk Main Street utilizes the nationally successful Main Street Approach which is centered around Transformation Strategies. Newkirk Main Street's work on Transformation Strategies is organized around the Four Points: Economic Vitality, Design, Promotion, and Organization with special effort to not favor any one over the other. Frequently, it is found that a transformation strategy contains aspect of all four points. Each of these four points are represented by a working committee.
