 Newkirk  Main Street will be a revitalized, inviting, and vibrant historic  downtown  filled to capacity and serving as the heart of the community,  attracting local residents and tourists of all ages. This beautifully  restored downtown will offer a balanced mix of attractions, including  dining, shopping, art, entertainment, parks, green spaces,  and other activities and events in a friendly, safe, and accommodating  environment.  The integrity and character of the historic residential  and commercial district will be a showcase for the region, with  revitalized buildings, attractive storefronts, unique  shops, and opportunities for people to live, work, shop, worship, and  enjoy activities for all ages in Newkirk.   

The  mission of Newkirk Main Street, a volunteer driven nonprofit,  is to improve the  quality of life for all residents by strengthening the historic core of  the community through concentrated efforts in Organization, Promotion,  Design, and Economic Vitality. 

Whether  you're 9 or 90, we  love our volunteers! From attending weekly meetings throughout the school year to helping with annual events, we have volunteer opportunities available to suit just about anyone!
